An expatriate of Ohio and adopted West Virginian, Matt now calls Utah home.

Matt has lived in Utah for 20+ years working in the Outdoor Industry the entire time.

He enjoys guiding because of the people he meets.

Preservation of the National Parks is a main passion for Matt due to his belief in keeping all that we have saved for future generations to enjoy.

His favorite quote comes from John Muir : “Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are on dirt.”

He is an IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association) certified Mountain Bike Instructor.

Matt is a United States Army veteran, currently serves in the United States Air Force Reserves, has 4 children, and resides in Park City.
